
The wellbeing clinics provide outpatient based treatment and support for adults with moderate to severe mental health difficulties who live in the borough of Barnet and/or registered with a Barnet GP.
The team consists of qualified nurses, one of whom is an independent nurse prescriber, and a support worker, who are supported by admin staff. The clinics provide ongoing care for those service users who have been placed on long term antipsychotic depot medication and service users that have been placed on certain medications which require regular blood testing.
We also provide the following additional services:
Referrals are made through secondary care teams across the Trust.
Our service is for adults aged 18-65 who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties which require depot or clozaril medication. We also offer a range of support to meet physical health needs and blood tests.
Clinic services are provided at the Springwell Centre which is sited on the grounds of Barnet General Hospital, and also in the Dennis Scott Unit which is sited within the grounds of Edgware Community Hospital.
