Our 2025 Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) took place on Tuesday 7 October at St Ann’s Hospital, Haringey.
The event, hosted by our Chair, Lena Samuels, brought together over 70 people, including service users, carers, staff, governors, colleagues from partner NHS trusts, and representatives from local authorities.
This year’s meeting marked an important milestone, our first AMM as a newly formed NHS Foundation Trust.
Ahead of the meeting, guests were invited to explore a corridor showcase highlighting our achievements and impact over the past year. The displays reflected the wide range of services and initiatives that are helping us improve mental health and wellbeing across North London.
Our Chief Executive, Jinjer Kandola, delivered a presentation on our key achievements from 2024/25, celebrating the positive difference we are making in people’s lives. Reflecting on our aims for the past year, Jinjer discussed where we have delivered and where we continue to focus on improving our services. She also spoke about our journey from working as a Partnership to becoming a Foundation Trust.
We also heard from our Chief Nursing and Allied Health Professions Officer, Manny Gnanaraj, who presented on quality, and from our Chief Finance and Investment Officer, Samanthi Gibbens, who shared an overview of our financial performance.
Iain Eaves, our Chief Strategy and Neighbourhood Health Officer, presented a short overview of the changing strategic landscape for the Trust and our ambition to transform services across North London. He outlined how the NHS Long Term Plan aligns with our own strategic priorities and our ongoing work to deliver outstanding, locally integrated care.
To close the meeting, Lead governor Denise Morrirson, touched on the importance of diversity and inclusion within our organisation.
We are proudly diverse, not just in terms of who we are, but how we think, how we lead and how we serve.
The meeting was a valuable opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, to share in our successes, and to look forward to the next stage of our journey as North London NHS Foundation Trust.
