Over 60 members, service users, carers, staff, partners , governors and members of the public came together on Tuesday 6 October for North London NHS Foundation Trust's Annual Members' Meeting (AMM), held at the Trust's headquarters in Camden.
The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the Trust's achievements during 2025/26, discuss priorities for the year ahead and hear directly from Trust leaders about progress in improving services across north London.
A key theme throughout the meeting was the successful merger with Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and the opportunities it creates to bring together expertise in mental health, community and specialist services, alongside the Trust's strengths in education, research and innovation.
Attendees heard updates on:
Key achievements and developments across Trust services during 2025/26
Progress in improving quality, patient safety and patient experience
The Trust's financial performance and investment priorities
Future plans to transform services and strengthen partnership working across north London
The impact of the merger in supporting better care and outcomes for local communities
We were also lucky enough to hear from Prof Elvira Bramon, a Consultant Psychiatrist at NLFT and Director of Psychiatry at UCL speaking about evaluating genetic testing to optimise medication for mental health.

Trust leaders thanked staff, service users, carers, volunteers and partners for their continued commitment and support during a significant year for the organisation.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for members of the public and Trust members to ask questions and engage directly with Trust leaders and governors on issues that matter most to local communities.
