On Saturday 16 August, our Children’s and Young People’s Services are hosting “North London Summer Connect”, a family-friendly festival in the heart of Haringey, aimed at promoting mental health and wellbeing for children, young people, and their families.
This special event will bring together the local community to spotlight the wide range of mental health and wellbeing support available in North London, delivered by the NHS and our trusted local partners.
The event will take place in Chesnuts Park in Haringey.
There will be a wide variety of activities for all ages, including fun interactive games, sports, arts and crafts workshops, and a bouncy castle. Families can enjoy face painting, sample tasty refreshments, and take part in hands-on creative experiences throughout the day.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore advice and information booths, hear valuable tips from young people with lived experience of our services, and connect with local partner organisations offering support and resources.
Whether you're looking for services, want to meet others in the community, or simply want to enjoy a great day out with your family, Summer Connect will have something for everyone. We’re creating a safe and open space for dialogue, relationship-building, and shared learning.
The event is free to attend and no ticket is required.
