Lena Samuels, Chair at the North London Mental Health Partnership, along with Dr Farah Jameel, Non-Executive Director and Ben Browne, Chief People Officer, have been shortlisted on a new leaders list that recognises 75 health and social care professionals from Black, Asian and other minority backgrounds who are making a difference in the sector but are often hidden in plain sight.

On 18 January Dr Sue Ferrier, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Joint Head for our Veterans Service, welcomed a delegation from the Nigerian Government.

You may have seen reports about clozapine in the media this week which we know may be concerning for some of our patients and carers. We wanted to reassure you that we continue to prescribe clozapine for many of our patients, and that we regard it as a well-established, safe and effective medicine.

The NHS has rolled out an expanded mental health support service for Armed Forces veterans, as a survey found that more than half find it difficult to speak up about mental health issues.
