Garnet Ward

Garnet ward is a 14-beded mixed ward. We provide acute inpatient mental health care for older adults. On admission you will be introduced to staff and given a comprehensive mental and physical health assessment with which we devise a person-centred care plan.

What to expect
Garnet is a 14-bed mixed ward. You will have a lounge area which contains a TV and sofas, as well as a quiet room if you choose to watch another show or want some time to relax. We also provide a dining area which has direct access to garden space.
Our team also helps to arrange activities including playing board games, having music sessions which are popular, outdoor walks and more.
We offer a warm welcome throughout the journey to recovery that respects patient dignity at all times and care which is delivered with compassion and kindness.
We are proud that our readmission rates are very low, which is a reflection that our discharge care plans are supportive and designed to reduce risks of relapsing.
