Jade Ward provides inpatient care for individuals with a variety of mental health illnesses.
Service users will be introduced to the staff on duty, shown to their room and given a tour of the ward.
Staff will contact a family member or carer with the service users consent, to let them know they have been admitted to hospital.
Service users will have physical health checks by both medical and nursing staff.
If service users have been admitted under the Mental Health Act, they will have received a leaflet called “Your rights under Section 132 of the Mental Health Act”. This explains their rights and any restrictions they may be subjected to. A member of staff will talk to the service user to explain what this means, and make sure they understand it.
Care will be founded on compassion and kindness, dignity will always be respected and care will be high quality and professional.
No decision about you, without you – we will work with you towards your recovery.
