
Sunflower Ward is an acute inpatient assessment and treatment ward which provides intensive clinical interventions designed to deliver high quality support and treatment to enable individuals to be reintegrated into the community. The ward provides care for adults aged 18 to 65 years living in the Borough of Haringey.
The ward is mixed with 18 beds.
Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team made up mainly of doctors, nurses, health care assistants, occupational therapists, psychologists, dual diagnosis workers, social workers and students of these professionals.

GPs, A&E doctors, police, liaising team, self-referral, care coordinators and voluntary sector carers can refer to the service.
We provide quality care that is holistic and effective. Service users and carers are involved in its planning and implementation as much as possible.
We provide care aimed at early recovery/discharge. It is based on the multidisciplinary team approach and reflects the range of service-users’ and carers identified needs.

When an inpatient is ready for discharge this will often be supported by the home treatment team for a period providing additional support whilst working alongside the care coordinator.
