Our governors play an important role in connecting the Trust with our members and the communities we serve. They represent local views, listen to what matters to people and help make sure these voices are heard across the Trust.
From attending community events and visiting our services to meeting members and supporting Trust activities, our governors are active across north London.
Here you can find out more about what our governors have been doing.
Governors had a strong presence at our Annual Members’ Meeting, helping to represent the voices of our members and local communities. Lead Governor Denise Morrison spoke about the work of the Council of Governors and the important role governors play within the Trust. The meeting also included a presentation from Professor Elvira Bramon, Consultant Psychiatrist at NLFT and Director of Psychiatry at UCL, who shared work on evaluating genetic testing to help optimise medication for mental health.
Thank you to all our governors who attended and contributed to the event.
More than two decades of creativity and collaboration in the mental health space were celebrated when patients, carers, artists, NHS staff and local supporters came together on Saturday 20 June to mark the closure of the Conference Centre Gallery at St Pancras Hospital.
Olga Cecilia Farach attended the event on behalf of the Council of Governors – thank you to Olga for representing governors at this important moment for the Trust.
The event brought people together to reflect on the gallery’s impact and the role it has played in supporting wellbeing through art over the past 23 years. The afternoon included film screenings celebrating its history, followed by an opportunity to connect and share memories.
